How We Work
Supporting physicians while strengthening public healthcare.
Physicians at Schroeder Ambulatory Centre generally split their time between our Centre and their home practices (at hospitals, clinics or both).
We work with our physicians to ensure that their other schedules are maintained, and that their hours aren’t shifted away from hospitals. This is core to our mission of making public health more accessible and efficient for all.
Our Centre adds significant operating room hours to Ontario’s healthcare system, educational opportunities for healthcare professionals and cutting-edge AI-assisted technologies to improve patient outcomes and make outpatient care faster and more cost effective.
Learning Pathways
We also work with leading universities to create learning pathways for health human resources, further strengthening public health.

The Schroeder Ambulatory Centre Foundation is a separate, independent charitable non-profit that supports the Centre. It raises funds to support growth and operations, and also owns and manages the Centre’s facility infrastructure.
